Issue/Introduction

The admin console displays the error message 'Operation not supported for user existing in LDAP' when deleting the administrator from the LDAP organization.

However, the Administrator record is moved to the ARADMINUSER_ARCHIVE table from the ARADMINUSER table. The Administrator ID remains in the search result with the role 'Global Administrator' and the User Status as ACTIVE.

Resolution

Our recommendation is to apply the patch Symantec-AdvAuth-9.1.04-DE581309-HotFix to resolve this issue.
