This article describes how to create email disclaimers for Symantec Email Security.cloud.

Cause

Instructions on creating email disclaimers for Symantec Email Security.cloud.

Resolution

To create an email disclaimer :

• On the Dashboard > Platform > Email Disclaimers > Current Disclaimers tab, click Create a new disclaimer.
• In the Disclaimer name box, enter a name for the disclaimer.
• To create a disclaimer for inbound email, under Inbound disclaimer select Custom, and then enter the text for the inbound disclaimer.
• To create a disclaimer for outbound email, under Outbound disclaimer select Custom, and then enter the text for the outbound disclaimer.
• To have no disclaimer, select No disclaimer for Inbound, Outbound or both.
• To add a group or domain, click Add group.

          A list of groups that are not already assigned to another custom disclaimer and domains appears. If you do not see the group you are looking for, use the search box.

• Select the group to add, and click Add Selected.
• Click Save. A confirmation message is displayed.
