Issue/Introduction

The default ACF2 CLASMAP for the resource class RDATALIB TYPE(RDA) does not specify 'MIXED'. If a site INSERTs a GSO CLASMAP for RESOURCE(RDATALIB) RSRCTYPE(RDA) MIXED, will this impact current TYPE(RDA) rules for KEYRING/Certificate private key access?

Resolution

The RDATALLIB call that is issued for resource name <ringOwner>.<ringName>.LST is in upper case. Changing the CLASMAP for RDATALIB to 'MIXED' will not impact the validation or the current resource $KEY(SERVER) TYPE(RDA) rule. The RINGNAME(Keyring.Name) is upper cased when the resource SERVER.KEYRING.NAME.LST is validated.

However once a GSO CLASMAP for RESOURCE(RDATALIB) RSRCTYPE(RDA) MIXED is inserted, sites should be careful when compiling, or changing TYPE(RDA) rules for KEYRING/Certificate private key access and be sure that the resource name is in upper case.
