AZURE SAML Integration fails with U00045329 User name from SAML response can not be extracted

Issue/Introduction

You have integrated Automic with SAML and when trying to Login with a user you obtain a Access Denied and the following error in JWP log:

 U00045329 User name from SAML response can not be extracted (no match found)

Environment

Version: 21.x and superior

Component: Automation Engine

Context: SAML integration with Automic for Login via AWI

Cause

Wrong configuration in Azure SAML

Resolution

Go to MS Azure SAML Console and edit the Claim and set it to:

• Name identifier format: Unspecified

• Source attribute: user.onpremisessamaccountname
