ASM OPMS - Changing the proxy configuration

Issue/Introduction

In the previous versions of the OPMS agent, we changed the opms proxy configuration by updating the /etc/yum.conf file with the new proxy config.

In the new 23.x version, we have updated the values.yaml > proxy section and executed ./asm-installer update -f /tmp/values.yaml but it didn't help

What is the process to achieve the same using the latest opms version?

Resolution

Upgrade OPMS to v24.4.2

The opms installer is supporting proxy commands and you can change the proxy configuration by one command: ./asm-installer proxy
