Annotations display incorrect characters after upgrade

Issue/Introduction

You have noticed that annotations are not formatted correctly after upgrade to Messaging Gateway 10.8.1. As an example, a multi-line annotation may show the character sequence "\r\n" rather than the text being on a separate line.

Cause

This issue is related to a previous fix for a visual annotation issue in 10.8.0.

Resolution
