Agent Content Update Job is failing

Issue/Introduction

When running a Control Compliance Suite (CCS) Agent Content Update (APU) job on Unix agents it fails with the following error.

Error while connecting to agent service - Authentication failure

Environment

CCS 12.6x

Cause

It was found that CCS was missing a library file that gets installed with the agent.

"esmagtd: error while loading shared libraries: libPGPsdk.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

Resolution

To resolve the issue double-check that the install media is correct and that you are using the media that it shipped.

Uninstall the agent, and verify that everything is cleaned up.

Reinstall the agent, the library will now be there.

Re-run the APU job and it will now be successful.
