Issue/Introduction

Can we monitor the LDAP Novell eDirectory with UIM? 

We are interested in querying the directory and searching for users' attributes.

 UIM supports integration with eDirectory Novell for logging into UIM via hub/LDAP authentication.

To monitor the LDAP Instance we don't have a dedicated probe. 

However: 

It is possible to monitor the LDAP directory with the ldap_response probe:

The ldap_response (LDAP Server Response Monitoring) probe monitors LDAP servers by executing specified queries at regular intervals. These queries measure the response time and number of records returned from the LDAP server. When a specified threshold is breached, the probe generates alarms and QoS.
