PUT0141E - LISTDEF/LISTDEFDD not valid with AUTO-RESTART NO

Issue/Introduction

When executing a PRA#LOAD job this error message is seen:

PUT0141E - LISTDEF/LISTDEFDD not valid with AUTO-RESTART NO
   LISTDEF PRALIST

 PUT0092E - Syntax Error on or near location 011

 

Environment

Release: R20

DB2 for z/os

Cause

AUTO-RESTART NO in the hlq.CDBAPARM(UTIL) is not valid with LISTDEF in a utility.

Resolution

Looking at error message PUT0141E 

It states that AUTO-RESTART NO is not valid with LISTDEF.

In the job output BEFORE this utility the PARMLIB settings are listed:

PUT0100I - Utilities Parmlib UTIL Options in effect for FASTLOAD

This can be seen: PUT0100I - AUTO-RESTART          NO 

The action is to alter this in the hlq.CDBAPARM(UTIL) member to be:

AUTO-RESTART  (YES)

Then the job can be resubmit.
