Requirements for creating WinPE using Boot Disk Creator (BDC)

Resolution

In the case of client operating systems, Broadcom recommends that the Boot Disk Creator is running on x64 architectures only.

In the table below you may find requirements for managing different versions of WinPE using Boot Disk Creator

WinPE 11 21H2	BDC installed on Windows Server 2012 R2 or older with use of WinPE11 ADK is not supported

Note:

This article is about BDC tool. If nothing is said in table above, then mentioned WinPE may be used in BDC tool running on any OS platform supported by Ghost Standard Tools (GST) or Ghost Solution Suite (GSS).

 

Supported OSes are mentioned in GSS Platform Support Matrix. I.e. GST installation is supported on Windows 10 21H2/Windows Server 2016 and newer. 

Older OS are EOLed by Microsoft already.
