Requirements for creating WinPE using Boot Disk Creator (BDC)

Resolution

For client operating systems, Broadcom recommends that the Boot Disk Creator (BDC) is running only on x64 architectures.

The table below lists the recommended requirements for managing different versions of WinPE using Boot Disk Creator:

Starting with Windows 10, version 1809, the Windows Preinstallation Environment (PE) is released separately from the Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK). See KB 185020

BDC installed on Windows Server 2012 R2 or older with use of WinPE11 ADK is not supported

WinPE 11 22H2

BDC installed on Windows Server 2012 R2 or older with use of WinPE11 ADK is not supported

Note: This article is for the BDC tool. If nothing is said in table above, then the mentioned WinPE may be used in BDC tool running on any OS platform supported by Ghost Standard Tools (GST) or Ghost Solution Suite (GSS).

Supported OSes are documented in the GSS Platform Support Matrix. For instance, GST installations are supported on Windows 10 21H2 / Windows Server 2016 and newer.  Older OSes are EOL'ed by Microsoft already.
