Error: "Failed to execute migration actions" when upgrading DLP from 15.8 MP3 to 16.0.1

Issue/Introduction

Upgrading DLP from 15.8 MP3 to 16.0.1 fails with this error in the migration log:

SEVERE: Failed to execute migration actions. Please refer to the log file for details
com.symantec.dlp.migrationcommon.MigrationException: Failed to run migration action "SetEnforceServerVersion"

Caused by: com.symantec.dlp.migrationcommon.MigrationException: Failed to set Enforce Server version in database

Caused by: java.nio.file.NoSuchFileException: /opt/Symantec/DataLossPrevention/EnforceServer/16.0.10000/Protect/manager.ver

Resolution

After replacing the manager.ver file the upgrade was successful.
