what does the UpdateQosSnapshot DB Proc does in UIM DB?

Resolution

UpdateQosSnapshot process runs from the data_engine probe and is responsible for updating the S_QOS_SNAPSHOT table, which contains the most-recently-collected value from all QoS's, so that the charts and dashboards in UIM can quickly obtain the last value for any metric.

It is expected that the number of writes to this table will be equivalent to the number of metric values collected per second/minute, so in a larger environment and as more QoS is added, this will get higher. It is normal.
