List the JES datasets and sysouts for jobs for a OM View report

Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to create or list the JES datasets and sysouts for jobs, for a report collected in View, as can be done in SDSF?

• View®
• OM View for z
• Output Management View® for z/OS

Resolution

When a complete job is archived to View, there is the ability to display the various sections of the job such as JESMSGLG, JESJCL, JESYMSSG, etc. without paging through the report.

In the View Sysout Selection List, select the SYSOUT with an "?" command.

This brings you a list of the JES datasets and the Sysout datasets contained in the job. See example below:

      SYSUT2   GENER2

There are two methods for selecting the dataset that you want to browse from the dataset list:

1. Place an "S" in the Sel column next to the dataset and press [Enter].
2. Place your cursor in the Sel column next to the dataset and press [Enter].
