Department OBS query slow in MUX on large dataset with 30K+ departments

Issue/Introduction

A large dataset with 30k+ departments has slowness on retrieving Department OBS in MUX. Slowness may also be noticed in Classic

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Connect to Clarity
2. Go to MUX - Project - click Create from Template
3. Pick a Template - click Next - fill in all the details including location
4. At the bottom select the Department lookup

 

Expected Results: The results to be retrieved fast and the OBS to display

Actual Results: the lookup does not open until 10-30 sec, if we scroll through it will show blanks intermittently when retrieving results

Release : 16.0.3+

Resolution

This is DE78230 and resolved in 16.0.3.6, 16.1.3.2, and 16.2.0.1.

Additional Information

Note: This lookup will work as lazy loading and it loads 25 results and as you scroll it will fetch the results from server each time
