Issue/Introduction

Fresh install of CA SERVICE DESK in Brazilian Portuguese won't complete post installation tasks automatically.

Advanced Availability, Background server installation.

The following error is found in the Install.log file :

2023/10/20 10.05.52.150 DEBUG [DeployThread: Executando as etapas posteriores à instalação para as atualizações do CA Service Desk Manager: 17.4] [CommonProcessUtilities] Couldn't connect to the server - Please check the network and that server daemons are running.   (Socket error 10061)

WinServer 2022
SQLSERVER 2019

Environment

Release : 17.4

Resolution

The error was caused by not selecting the "load default data option" in the installation parameters.
