Issue/Introduction

ACIDs for auto-signon terminals are to be stored in CyberArk.   CyberArk will change the password on a regular interval determined by the security group.  These terminals are used for ATM processing and as such are signed on for most of the week.   If CyberArk was to change the passwords on these terminals while they were signed-on to CICS would it cause transaction security errors after the password was changed without an intervening sign-off/on?

Resolution

CyberArk works like a Security Admin and issues a Replace on a user's password while that user is logged on and working. The user will have no errors or problems.
If the user signs off and then signs back on, they would have to use the new password.

The password field is only interrogated when there is a signon, so there will not be any type of interruption.
