Issue/Introduction

Does Information Centric Analytics (ICA) support single sign-on (SSO) authentication to the ICA portal?

Resolution

By default, single sign-on authentication to the ICA portal is provided through Windows Integrated Authentication (WIA) in conjunction with a WIA-compatible browser, such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Mozilla Firefox is WIA-compatible but must be configured to enable this functionality.

Because authentication to the ICA portal is handled by Internet Information Services (IIS), ICA could conceivably work with an SSO solution that integrates with IIS; however, Broadcom does not support issues with or arising from a third-party SSO solution integration. If assistance is required, contact your SSO solution vendor.
