Does SYSVIEW require any RMF records to function properly?

Resolution

SYSVIEW uses the data IBM Resource Management Facility (RMF) provides for the SYSVIEW RMF displays.  RMF and RMF Monitor III must be active to gather the data for the SYSVIEW displays.  The RMF data displays can be found by issuing the 'MENU RMF' command.

Although SYSVIEW does not require any of the RMF records to function properly, SYSVIEW does provide a facility to help you manage/view all of your SMF records.  You can find those displays by issuing the 'MENU SMF' command.
