Issue/Introduction

UIM 20.4  fresh install fails

Environment

Release : 20.4

Cause

Ran the command SELECT SERVERPROPERTY('COLLATION') and found out that the collation for  UIM DB was set to Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS. 

 

Resolution

 Changed the collation for  UIM DB as follows:

SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS

After changing the collation to SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS,  ran the installation again and it went fine.
