Using end-of-life Python 3.6.3 for VIP with Credential Provider for offline authentication

Issue/Introduction

"Configuring Symantec VIP with Credential Provider for offline authentication, checked need to install Python 3.6.3 but it is out of support."

Cause

Most current version of Microsoft Credential Provider plugin is 1.4, and to configure for offline authentication will require the installation of Python 3.6.3, which has reached its end-of-life.

Resolution

Next iteration of MCP version 1.5 is in the pipeline, which will eliminate Python and its vulnerability/dependency.
Until then, users are to use MCP version 1.4 with supported Python 3.6.3.
