Issue/Introduction

BROWSE_VIEW_MODE=B has been updated in the ENDICNFG table but elements are opening in View mode in the display panel.

Resolution

If BROWSE_VIEW_MODE=B has been updated in the ENDICNFG but View is still occurring, check the value of the "ISPF BROWSE OR VIEW MODE" field in the User Defaults panel. Once this field is modified from the default value set in ENDICNFG, it is stored in the users' <TSOID>.ISPF.ISPPROF(CTLxPROF) member and used for all future display.  The field in <TSOID>.ISPF.ISPPROF(CTLxPROF) is VARBRWVW and will be VIEW or BROWSE.
