Issue/Introduction

SpanVA should run on any Virtual host that supports .OVA import files.

Does SpanVA run on OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)?

 

Resolution

SpanVA is not currently supported on OCI because OCI cannot support the .OVA file.  There are Oracle threads suggesting how to migrate a VM running on another host. SpanVA may run but it is not currently supported.

SpanVA Techdocs list Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Hyper-V Cloud Infrastructures that have been tested. 

There maybe other vendors that can import a OVA or Hyper-V image but not supported by Engineering
