Does Symantec Directory support file system encryption?

Resolution

Usually file system encryption shouldn't affect any application and we see no reason it would affect Symantec Directory. The encryption/decryption is handled by the 3rd party or OS and once logged in and application is loaded with its normal behavior.

This has not been officially tested and certified so Broadcom's suggestion is to test this in a lower environment first before implementing it in production environment.
