Dynamic Capacity Intelligence

Issue/Introduction

After a DR (Disaster Recovery) test completed, the R4HA and INT values of the Capacity Groups (CGs) on the main ISPF DCI panel (DCIIP011) and on the WebUI Status panel are wrong, as they sum up values from SYStems/LPARs that are no longer active on those CGs after the DR ended.

Environment

Release : 2.0

Resolution

The problem occurs because of the way DCI builds its internal systems table. The problem disappeared after the end of the month, as DCI created a new internal system table, using the LPARs setup for the new month.

R&D suggested defining (at z/OS level, not at DCI level) separate Capacity groups for the DR environment and for the Production environment.
