Checking appliance certificate expiration date in Security Analytics

Issue/Introduction

The appliance certificate is used by the browser.  The browser contains the certificate details, including expiration date.

Resolution

The certificate is used by the browser, so it has the details.  Browse to the appliance, select the lock next to the URL. 

For Firefox -

1. Left click on the lock
2. Select "Connection secure"
3. Select "View Certificate"
4. There is a full page of certificate information, including the date of expiration.

For Chrome,

1. Select the lock 
2. Select "Connection secure"
3. Select "Certificate is Valid. 
4. This will provide many details, including the expiration date.
