Issue/Introduction

The System has created a Symptom Dump after the following message:

OPS3109O Internal error detected at OPSNMG+X'112C', RC = X'0020', MSGNO=1182 

and in the master trace it was detected that :

- command is executed in the command processor 
- there is an unconditional logoff 
- internal errors in the message formatting routine

The scenario that someone is in OPS CMD and has an unconditional logoff is something that happens often but the internal errors is something new:

Resolution

The message

OPS3109O Internal error detected at OPSNMG+X'112C', RC = X'0020', MSGNO=1182

is intentionally issued because the OPSCMD sub-command mode session was interrupted while OPS/MVS was attempting to issue the command prompt message, OPS1182, to indicate it is waiting for further input. The RC x'0020' indicates the reason why the OPS3190 was issued: the PUTGET service could not issue a terminal message due to Terminal Disconnected.     

The dump is a result of the TSO user abnormal termination.
