DETECTOR : Host Variables missing from Exception Collection Data

Issue/Introduction

We have found a situation where host variables (HV) are not shown for an exception item in Detector. A similar item in the same interval does show HV. Are there situations where HV are not shown?

 

Environment

Release : 20.0

DB2v12

Resolution

In this case the storage belonging to the host variables exceeded the set storage limit however Detector doesn't provide a warning of this limit being reached.

The Host Variable limit should be increased to 16K to resolve this problem.
