Filemaster, options RLS (Y or N ) and the log option

Issue/Introduction

During the copying  of VSAM or allocating a VSAM file in Filemaster,options RLS (Y or N ) and the log option are obligatory.

Could an option to ignore RLS be added to the Filemaster options?

Release : 12.0

Resolution

Currently, Yes log options are obligatory even when RLS is N.

This issue is going to be resolved as a part of the upcoming planned feature "FMMVS RLS ignore global option"  scheduled for release within the next quarter.
