Issue/Introduction

We have some masking configuration files that were created using an older release of FDM. The older masking configuration file contains the header labeled "KeepNulls". When loading this configuration file using a newer release of FDM (4.9.135.0+), the "Keep Nulls" check box is unchecked. We believe this is because the newer release of FDM expects the header in the configuration file to be "Keep Nulls".  Can we change the FDM config file so that the "KeepNulls" header reads as "Keep Nulls”?

Environment

Release : FDM 4. 9.135.0+

Resolution

Testing with FDM 4.10.531.0, we noticed that when saving the masking configuration, the CSV file contains the header "Keep Nulls" for that column.

Therefore, yes, you can modify your older masking configuration CSV files, and change the "KeepNulls" column header to "Keep Nulls".

For example:

Should be:

When loading the modified configuration file, you should see the "Keep Nulls" check box selected for those configurations where "Keep Nulls" = Y.
