DFHUS0070 Security check received during CTS 1.1 CICS Initialization

Issue/Introduction

Installing TOP SECRET into CTS 1.1 may cause the following message during CICS startup:

 DFHUS0070 CICSPROD Security check for CICS region userid (CICSPROD) has failed. SAF codes are (X'00000008',X'00000000').

Resolution

To resolve the issue, the CICS region acid must be authorized to the facility using the following command format:

TSS ADD(regionacid) FAC(facility)

Where:

• 'regionacid' - is the acid used on the '// ID' card in the CICS startup JCL.
  
  
• 'facility' - is the FACILITY assigned to the 'regionacid' via MASTFAC keyword.
