During migration of application from one site to another we encountered following error code for jobs using CA-Earl.
CALC291E STATEMENT BEGINNING ON LINE 3 ERROR - RESTRICTED TO CA USER MODULES
1 SYNTAX ERROR(S) DETECTED
Based on your knowledge base this means that we have wrong or are completely missing license.
Release : 6.0
The message is telling you that you are using the common component Earl provided with Common Services. This is going to function for specific products such as CA-1, TLMS, and Scheduler.
The full function Earl is a seperate license and is probably not on your contract or maybe not on the machine you are running on.

CALC291E RESTRICTED TO CA USER MODULES Explanation: Your site is licensed only for the Advantage CA-Earl Report Service common service, which is supplied with many Computer Associates products to support Advantage CA-Earl reports containing product-specific information.I/O for any other types of files is not supported by this component. User Response: Refer only to the supplied user file modules on the FILE statement, or purchase the entire Advantage CA-Earl product.
Recommend that you contact the Broadcom account team to acquire the full license required to utilize Earl outside of the free version capabilities.
