DXI-POSTGRES FATAL: password authentication failed for user "aopuser"

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading DX Platform from version 23.1 to version 23.2, DXI Postgres is displaying the error message below.

2023-09-18 17:36:34.512 UTC [874] FATAL:  password authentication failed for user "aopuser"                                                                                                                │
│ 2023-09-18 17:36:34.512 UTC [874] DETAIL:  Role "aopuser" does not exist.                                                                                                                                  │
│     Connection matched pg_hba.conf line 100: "host all all all scram-sha-256"

Environment

Release : 23.2

Cause

We found that DX platform databases were missing in Postgres. 

Resolution

We restore the DX platform databases from the backup.
Updated DX platform databases names.
Also updated the password for "aopuser".  
Stopped and started DX platform via start/stop script.
