Issue/Introduction

When a clarity user generates a pdf from a status report, if the text box configured for the status report canvas is large and has a scroll down bar, the PDF report only shows the part of the text box where you don't need to scroll down.

Resolution

A limitation in clarity status report canvas module. Auto-sizing of large text columns when the status report is published to PDF is a enhancement request which is yet to be delivered in the product. The PDF report currently adheres to the layout of the status canvas as much as it can, so basically the PDF report is a close match of the web view of  the status report. In other words column width would need to be manually adjusted before previewing or publishing to PDF.

Workaround:

Before clicking Publish, please check the text formatting in the Preview mode. For example, if you add four lines in the text field (Key Accomplishments), only three lines may be visible in the field in Preview. So, the same three lines will be published in PDF. If you find any text formatting issue, navigate to the Configure Canvas view to adjust the fields to accommodate the entire text.
