DCS UMC trace enable 6.9.1 or older

Issue/Introduction

Enabling trace logging for the UMC log files on version 6.9.1 or older

Resolution

Go to the path: 

C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Data Center Security Server\Server\tomcat\symapps\umc\umcservices\WEB-INF\classes\log4j.xml

In line 23 locate:

Change this from INFO to TRACE.

Once this is done, restart the DCS Services. The umclog.log file will start logging with trace enabled.

When finished, please revert the changes back to what they were and restart services.
