Issue/Introduction

Primary hub all probes are down.

From the Data_engine .log :-

    Line   71358: Sep 14 20:46:44:339 [5496] 3 de: [Monitor] has disconnected from database

 

Environment

UIM : 20.4

Resolution

Data engine probe got disconnected because it was unable to connect to UIM Database Server. when ever data engine probe disconnect , controller will try to restart the data_engine probe for several times and if still it unable to connect to UIM Database Server the probe goes into red state. Many probes of UIM are dependent on data engine probe as they need connection string to connect to database to perform few retrieval operations. If data engine probe down,the dependent probes also will go to red state.
