Issue/Introduction

 

Upgrading OS for the Web Agent and Policy Server, what is the Java version supported for the Policy Server 12.8SP4 on RedHat 8?

 

Resolution

 

At first glance, according to the Support Matrix, version 1.8.212 and higher in that 1.8 series is supported (1).

According to the same Support Matrix, an upgrade of the Policy Server to at least 12.8SP5 version is needed, as the support on RedHat 8 starts at 12.8SP5 (1).

The Web Agent 12.52SP1CR10 is supported on RedHat 8 only with Apache 2.4 (2).
