GSVX031E LOAD failed for module GSVVFnnn

Issue/Introduction

Using the CTRANLOG command can result in the message GSVX031E LOAD failed for module GSVVFnnn, module not found.

Environment

SYSVIEW for CICS

Cause

- This typically occurs when the default SMF record type of 255 has been changed in the parmlib member CICSLOGR SMF-RECORD-TYPE  parameter.     

-  So, if SMF-RECORD-TYPE was set to 210 for example, the missing module would be GSVVF210.

Resolution

Update the parmlib member SMFTYPE when you are using an SMF record type other than the default of 255.

   To associate the right formatting formula, duplicate ALL of the DEF TYPE 255 records in the SMFTYPE member, change the 255 to

   your chosen record type, and then recycle SYSVIEW. You MUST keep the original DEF TYPE 255 definitions.
