Issue/Introduction

We are not able to send emails from IM. Although we have configured SMTP settings in email.properties as per the IGA documentation.

IDM_from_address.properties also configured

Error sending email XXX XX.XX.XX.XXX SMTP; Client was not authenticated to send anonymous mail during MAIL From

 

Environment: IGA VAPP 14.4.1

Release : 14.4 CP1

Resolution

The solution, for now, was to allow an anonymous connection mail server side which allows email to be sent.
