Issue/Introduction

A data source query job or the staging step of either the RiskFabric Processing or RiskFabric Intraday Processing job has been failing due to a change in the source server name, which is causing the SQL Server Agent to throw an error when attempting to lookup the referenced linked server in sys.servers. The following error message is captured in the SQL Server Agent log:

Could not find server <server name> in sys.servers. Verify that the correct server name was specified. If necessary, execute the stored procedure sp_addlinkedserver to add the server to sys.servers.

Resolution

In the Information Centric Analytics (ICA) console, navigate to Admin > Integration > Data Sources > Choose Data Source. Select the data source in question (choose User Defined for integrations that do not use an integration pack), edit the data source, and update the Server Name specified for the data source.
