Issue/Introduction

The following error was received in the VANWEBUI STC logs after the Vantage web client (MTC-M) was upgrade. 

http-nio-52029-exec-8 ERROR c.c.v.g.s.s.v.i.DatabaseVersionServiceImpl:593 - Error while migrating the dash board. Invalid email address of the recipient. Insert a semicolon (;) between the email addresses

Cause

The older database has an invalid email format, or multiple email addresses are separated with unsupported separator characters.  These errors are being caught because new checks have been added in the newer MTC-M 14.1.3 version involving database upgrades for MTC-M 14.1.3.

Resolution

The customer will need to work with the Broadcom support team to fix these errors. These errors are one-time only and involve the one-time upgrade of the VantageDB for MTC-M 14.1.3 (this release introduces new validation rules to prevent users from entering invalid characters involving email addresses, etc.).  The customer will be requested to upload the existing MTC-M VantageDB files/folder into the case so that the Dev/L2 team can provide an updated ('fixed') Vantage database.
