How do we prevent unwanted alarms from going to our ticketing system?

Cause

This article is informational. 

Resolution

Use a nas pre-processing rule to exclude the alarm so it never gets created. This assumes that you are not interested in this alarm to begin with.

Set the message string to look for the key words in the alarm you want to exclude. In this example we want to exclude all url_response alarms that contain 401.

use a /.key word./ to search for the correct string.

You can use F2 to test your message string against the actual alarm
