LU10692 - Question regarding ++HOLD

Issue/Introduction

LU10692 has the following ++HOLD:

1. Issue /F LLA,REFRESH                            
2. Restart of ACF2 is required                     
3. Issue /P ACF2                                   
4. Issue /S ACF2                                   
5. The PTF has to be applied to all LPARs          

 

What does "all LPARs" mean? 

 

Environment

Release : 16.0

Cause

APAR LU10692 is to be applied but clarification on the wording of  ++HOLD item #5 is requested.

Resolution

The ++HOLD entries for LU10692 include this statement: "The PTF has to be applied to all LPARs" .

This is to be interpreted as "any and all LPARs that are sharing a given set of ACF2 databases must be running with LU10692".
