API support for scheduled scan management in Symantec Data Center Security: Server Advanced includes published REST API's that let you manage how you scan systems in your environment.

Using these API's, you can:

Schedule a task to start or stop a scan.

Create, edit, delete or list scheduled scans against your security groups.
