After updating to Symantec Endpoint Detection and Response (SEDR) 4.8 you notice that your SEPM Database has a status of "Connection Error"

Environment

Release : 4.8.0

Cause

Database certificate missing after upgrade.

Resolution

Ensure you have a valid SEPM SQL certificate and open a ticket with Broadcom support.
