Issue/Introduction

When trying to delete a User View on the Vantage StoragePoint™ web client,  the following pop-up error message is generated:

"Delete Failed - 500 The call failed on the server; see server log for details."

... and the User View remains visible and active in the object tree, even if the messages of the Vantage Web UI STC on z/OS it states that the User View has been deleted, such as:

".... INFO http-nio-8080-exec-1 UserViewServiceImpl:1337 User view 'userview name' is deleted from the database." 

How can this problem be fixed?  

Resolution

There have been some changes made to the User View Service on releases following the base 14.1 release.  It is strongly recommended that users upgrade to the latest Vantage StoragePoint™ GA Release 14.1.4 to fix this bug.
