CA Mobile Authenticator app Can't Install on latest Android devices

Issue/Introduction

I have a user on a Galaxy S23 fully patched trying to install the CA Mobile Authenticator on their phone and getting an error that "This app isn't available for your device because it was made for an older version of Android." 

Is there any maximum OS/patch version that this app cannot be installed on? What needs to change to get this installed on the most recent phones?

Resolution

Advanced Authentication Engineering team is working on this issue to resolve this at the earliest. The issue arises as the Target SDK version changed from our Mobile App and what is supported in the latest release on Android 13 and this is being fixed and in Beta testing phase. Currently we have extension of this app until Nov 1st so no issues should be observed in downloading the app now. This KB article will be updates as soon as the fix is made available. Please monitor this KB for further updates.
