Most of the processes work fine, but from time to time the OCR server stops processing images despite the fact that the corresponding service is running and that this behavior occurs even when there is little to no load (in the night or in weekend).

The problem is transient in regards to this situation. The fix is to 1) uninstall , then 2) remove all the files on the ominipage folder and 3) reinstall the OCR- this repopulates the licenses.
As per our lab test results, Removed the OCR server, restarted the server (as indicated by the uninstaller) , then reinstalled the OCR server.
1) The license file was indeed left in place.
2) However it was correct and the OCR server begins working immediately.
It may be that reboot step was skipped, or had another lock on the file when it was reinstalling that caused the install to fail.
