After reboot of the proxy-server new entries for AGENT_LIST in proxy-client are missing

Issue/Introduction

Context:

The proxy-client proxy.ini is manually edited while the process remain running and a new line (ag9) is added into the section

[AGENT_LIST]
ag1=x.x.x.x/24
...
ag9=x.x.x.x/24

After doing so, the proxy client correctly detects the modification and add the rule:

20230822/114427.382 - U02100038 INI file changed, configuration will be applied.

But then at some point later the proxy-server is restarted, and as a consequence this new line ag9 that had been added previously is removed automatically from the proxy-client proxy.ini 

Environment

Release : 4.0.x

Component: Proxy (used with Automation Engine 12.x)

Cause

Defect in Proxy 4.0.x, it does not occur on Proxy 21.0.x

Resolution

Workaround

Please restart the proxy-client before restarting the proxy-server so that any "hot" modifications in the proxy.ini are not lost after a proxy-server restart.

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available.

It is now part of Automation Engine and can be found under Automation Engine 21.0 downloads.
