Staffing Workspace - Allocation and Assignments tabs performance in 16.1.3

Issue/Introduction

In 16.1.3 there is a change and the Staffing page splitting out into 5 tabs

Our users only use the Staff view, and the Allocation Timeline appears to have been split into 4 tabs, and we have performance issues with it. It mostly happens when users do not filter.

Is there any way to restrict or hide those tabs from our users. Or is there a way to make Staff the main / first / landing tab?

Resolution

• Unfortunately the changes to hide or reorder the tabs are not possible. 
• We are working on improving the Allocation Timeline and other tabs performance in next release (16.2)

Workarounds

1. Instruct the users to land on the Staff tab for the grid, when they return to the Staffing workspace the application will always land them there
2. You can create some default views that don't return records on the other tabs (see example below)

• We recommend creating the default views first.
• Then once the users open the page, they will have to navigate to Staff once.
• Once they are landed to Staff, the system will be keeping this tab as it remembers it from the last time the user used it.
