Microsoft OLE DB Driver 18.6.6 support with UIM 20.4

Issue/Introduction

• Is the MS OLE DB Driver 18.6.6 supported in UIM 20.4?
• Our security team requires 18.6.6 to be installed.

 

Environment

• Release: 20.4.x
• probe: data_engine

Resolution

• MSOLEDBSQL driver for UIM is supported as of DX UIM 20.4 CU4 or higher
• Also, Engineering has tested MSOLEDBSQL 18.6.6 and all looks good. You can uninstall the 18.6.5 driver and install 18.6.6.
• Engineering will be releasing this fix in an upcoming release.
